OUR VISION

TRC Rentals Inc. provides high-reach rotating telehandler rentals for commercial, industrial, and construction clients working on demanding jobsites across BC and Alberta.

Our current focus is the Merlo Roto 50.35S, a powerful rotating telehandler built for reach, capacity, tight-site access, and efficient material placement. It is designed to help contractors move trusses, steel, wall panels, roofing material, mechanical equipment, and other jobsite loads with fewer machine moves and greater flexibility.

TRC Rentals is focused on building long-term relationships with contractors who need reliable equipment, practical jobsite support, and a rental partner who understands the importance of keeping projects moving.

WHY RENT THE MERLO ROTO 50.35S

Built for Complex Jobsites

Tight access, congested work zones, and difficult site layouts can make material placement slow and inefficient. The Merlo Roto 50.35S is built to handle these conditions with multiple steering modes, compact positioning, self-stabilising/self-levelling systems, multi-position stabilizers, and programmable working limits. Operators can work confidently around structures, obstacles, and confined areas while keeping the job moving.

Saves Crane Time

Crane time is expensive, hard to schedule, and can slow the entire job down. The Merlo Roto 50.35S helps reduce crane dependency by combining lift height, horizontal reach, lifting capacity, and 360° rotation in one machine. From a stabilized setup, crews can place more material with less repositioning, keeping work moving and reducing downtime.

Keeps Crews Producing

When materials are waiting, crews are waiting. The Merlo Roto 50.35S helps keep production moving by combining reach, lift capacity, 360° rotation, and precise material placement in one machine. Trusses, steel, wall panels, roofing material, and mechanical equipment can be placed with fewer machine moves, less downtime, and better material flow.

The Merlo Roto 50.35S is built for demanding jobsites where reach, rotation, stability, and efficient material placement matter. Unlike a standard telehandler, the Roto can work around the machine with continuous 360° turret rotation, helping reduce repositioning and improve productivity from one stabilized setup.

For tight or congested sites, the 50.35S combines compact jobsite positioning with multiple steering modes, self-stabilising/self-levelling systems, and multi-position stabilizers that can adapt to the needs of the work area. Front wheel steering, pivot steering, and crab steering give the operator more control when navigating confined spaces, congested work zones, narrow access routes, and busy commercial or industrial sites.

Programmable working area settings allow the operator to define movement limits for height, extension, boom angle, and turret rotation, adding confidence when working near structures, obstacles, overhead hazards, or inside confined spaces.

The ASCS Adaptive Stability Control System supports safer operation by monitoring stability-related conditions in real time, including load, load position, boom extension, turret rotation, carriage rotation, and the implement in use. If the operational stability limit is reached, the system reduces movement speed and can stop unsafe movements while allowing movements that help return the machine to a safer position.

The 50.35S is also designed with efficiency in mind. Merlo’s engine and transmission management systems help reduce fuel consumption during operation, while the optional 400V plug-in power supply allows the machine to operate electrically once stabilized, where site power and setup allow. This can help reduce fuel use, emissions, noise, and operating costs on suitable jobsites.

With 11,000 lb maximum capacity, 111’6” lift height, approx. 88’6” maximum reach, permanent four-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, continuous turret rotation, and multi-position stabilizers, the Roto 50.35S gives contractors a strong balance of reach, capacity, precision, safety, and control for commercial, industrial, and construction projects.

Could the 50.35S Save Time on Your Site?

TRC can review site layout, lift requirements, machine overlap, labour flow, and marterial handling to compare how the Roto could improve efficiency and reduce overlapping equipment costs.
